It is nice to have learned how to post pictures, perfect timing.

Here is some more of the sloppy caulking we were assured was an acceptable standard by Re-Bath of CA. The worst part is it is a silicone based caulk that rendered that door jamb unpaintable even after removing the caulk. Note both colors are pooly done, but wait, why is there white on the jamb in the first place?

Nice gouge, more evidence of the "care" that went into the installation, and yes, were were accused by Randy of claiming they did it "that it was there before". Trust us, they did make the gouge...
Here's another classic shot. They tore up the floor (note the same style of caulking at the base too, about as close to continuity we got) and then Randy claimed it was that way when they got there.

Well, it was that way when he got there, because his crack team did the damage, but this was the first time Randy had been to our home, how on earth could he know? But he argued in court under oath it was that way before the installers started...
Notice that they didn't even install a Re-Bath pan after all the bragging and selling us on how high the Re-Bath quality was? We're not sure if this is Bait & Switch, but the Re-Bath pan we ended up with is not as much of a flexi-flyer as this one was. Who are we kidding, not sure if it was Bait & Switch? Look at the label.

You should post these pictures or attach them to sites like bing. Rebath pays for positive reviews nation wide.

A picture is worth a thousand words. From the look of the photos I ( a house wife) could have done a better job. It looks aweful!

Thank you for the advice, but are you aware that these photos show the incredibly bad work Re-Bath did?
We didn't think Re-Bath would be willing to pay us to show these, after all, they didn't want to pay for the damage they caused when our ceiling was destroyed by the leaking sub-standard plumbing they installed...

Since you have this positive information and seem to want to help, (even if it seems you have some reading comprehension problems), would you please ask them for us? We could use the money since we lost so much from dealing with them...

I happened upon your website. It is long. Was there a refund or settlement in Oct 2008 from Rebath?
I am lost as to what your complaint is about. Is a lot of this posting from other websites from people who have problems with Rebath? Did they pay you? If so why not just replace the poor work? I was in a car accident which totaled my car a couple of years before that and I just replaced it. I did not keep pictures of the wrecked car and I have forgotten the name of the person who hit my car. Puzzled in Reno.

Well “Anonymous” or Puzzled in Reno, who posted at 10:44AM on 7-13-10,

Most people who “happened upon” our blog don’t read everything as far back as almost two years, so it appears you have been following it but are trying to come across as a new reader, our guess is just to get this comment though moderation and be posted publicly.

What you refer to as a settlement was an insulting and indignant strong arm tactic leveraged by Re-Bath Corporate to alienate us and did not cover half of our losses. Had they compensated us fairly, we would not have felt so compelled to share the terrible ordeal they put us through.
We received no refund, but then we are confident you already knew that. (Of course from reading the blog…)

Did your car accident cause you comprehension problems, are you being intentionally obtuse, or are you just not that bright? Legitimate questions, considering...the issues are very clearly explained in this blog. What is so hard to understand?

It is painfully obvious many others have had many problems with Re-Bath and have gone public, some here in our blog, many elsewhere. You expended a significant amount of effort in your query, yet come across as being insincere.

Did the thought that we lost too much money, due to Re-Bath agent’s actions, to be able to replace the poor, shoddily done work ever cross your mind? The damage caused by Re-Bath set us back financially and to re-finish the bathroom is simply going to cost too much. More now to repair than if we had used a real contractor instead of them originally. That is how bad of a hack job it is.
Plus we had to (it was not an option to leave it open) have our downstairs ceiling replaced and Re-Bath did not pay anywhere near enough for us to have it repaired without incurring substantial costs even though it was 100% the fault of the Re-Bath installers. And was covered under their “guarantee”. Yeah, “what guarantee?” is right!

You say you were in a car crash. Was the other driver licensed? (Our Re-Bath franchise operator was not properly licensed.)
Did the other driver cause damage either intentionally or through neglect? (Our Re-Bath “professional” did to us.)
Did you contract with him do any type of service beforehand only to have this wreck occur do to his actions? And then did this “at fault” driver sue you after you tried to work things out fairly? (Our Re-Bath franchise did to us.)
If you were smart maybe you should have taken pictures to protect yourself in case the other driver was a liar and perjured himself in court by claiming outright falsehoods.
Or were you at fault in this accident and fail to see how irrelevant your comparison is to our situation?

But since this comment you wanted to have posted is most likely all made up, it is a moot point now isn’t it? After all you don’t relate any commonality to our situation in your comment.

But thanks for providing the opportunity to explain some of our points in finer clarity to alert others of the problems we had with Re-Bath so hopefully they will do research before, rather than after, contracting with them.
